Thousands of people descend on Chelsea every year to attracted by the thought of stunning gardens, new plants and garden trends. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been held within the grounds of the Royal Hospital for over one hundred years. Within just a few weeks, the Hospital’s parkland is transformed into a labyrinth of stunning gardens, pathways, marquees, shopping villages and catering areas.
All the display gardens are created from scratch with every item, including soil, being brought to the site. Garden designers, plant companies, and manufacturers will have been planning and preparing for months ensuring the plants are in bloom just at the right moment. The resultant gardens are incredible often including fully grown trees that look as if they have been there for years. A Chelsea gold medal is the height of many garden designers aspirations, likewise nurseries seeking to promote their newest plant varieties. Book your stay at Hotel Edward Paddington London so as to be a part of this mesmerizing event.
